Did Kim Kardashian Rip Off Another Designer's Jewellery?

Well, we don't seem to think so, alas Kim Kardashian is once again accused of drawing a little too much 'inspiration' from a designer for her jewellery line Belle Noel. 

The Kardashian's were accused of copying a Monica Botkier handbag for their Kardashian Kollection for Sears and took the bag down from their website before it could properly heat up. 

The designer in question this time, is the one and only Alexis Bittar, who also used to lend Kim his designs once upon his time. His reps said that he won't be doing that anymore...

Now we've had a bit of a nosey on his website and looked at the Belle Noel collection and we've come to a conclusion. We've made this decision based on the use of our eyes and a bit of common sense and it has nothing to do with the fact that we are major Kardashian fans. We don't think the designs even look that similar; we can cook up a million examples to prove our point but what do you think?

Lucky Magazine Bags All Three Kardashians for November 2011

It's all in the name - Lucky mag readers are just that, as they get all three Kardashian sisters on the front cover of the November issue.  Lucky didn't want to shove them all on one cover, oh no - each Kardashian deserves their very own cover so that's exactly what they got. And my, what gorgeous covers they are! Simple and effective, the way we like it. What do you think of Kim's lighter locks? We don't hate her hair like that, but nothing will beat her natural raven hair. Loving what they've done with Khloe's hair too, even Rapunzel would be proud to have a barnet like that! As usual, Kourtney looks cute as a button and all three of the sisters look divine.

Daily Style Crush: Kourtney Kardashian in Jumpsuits

I've bought a lot of jumpsuits/playsuits this summer, but I have more jumpsuits than there have been sunny days so I haven't managed to wear them all. I worry that they'll be the wrong side of "so last season" next summer and also worry I'll catch pneumonia if I decide to ignore the weather. Kourtney Kardashian however, proves that it's possible to outsmart the weather by wearing hers with tights - smart move.

Still staying in the jumpsuit family, is the actual jumpsuit (technically the term used for the longer legged ones as oppose to shorter legged 'playsuits' but 'jumpsuits' is the generic term for them now) as seen on Kourtney. She may be the shortest one of the Kardashian family but you wouldn't think it. Look how long her legs seem courtesy of the jumpsuit….gorgeous. Kourtney's shown us that there are multiple ways of working the jumpsuit and she's done so effortlessly.

The Kardashian Kollection Promos Spark Controversy

Or should we say, Kontroversy… Get us, being all clever, playing along with the Kardashian K brand; Kris Jenner will be so proud!

Annie Leibovitz is no stranger to controversy, but that's why we love her. Her Miley Cyrus shoot was slammed for over-sexualising a young Miley and let's not forget that John Lennon and Yoko Ono foetal position shoot, but now we have a fresh new scandal with Annie's name on it…

Feast your eyes on the above image of the Kardashian girls; they look good don't they? Heavily made up with their complexions receiving additional help from everyone's best friend, the airbrush. But it isn't their faces that are attracting the negative attention, oh no…it's their bodies. Shrinking bodies.

The airbrushers didn't shrink horizontally, i.e. making their waists and hips smaller; they shrunk vertically, mainly in the form of Khloe Kardashian. Any fan of the K-Klan will know that Khloe is considerably taller than her two older sisters, but in this campaign they appear to have almost identical height. So what happened there then? Well the truth is, no one really knows! No official men in suits have sent out any statements so all we can do it guess; in this modern world though where top technology is at everyone's fingertips, it's easy to see how the picture turned out the way it did - there wasn't any dramatic limb-swapping or supernatural/Alice in Wonderland style activity…so, let's just all chill and enjoy the gorgeous (albeit very airbrushed) pictures of our favourite American/Armenian reality TV stars.

Hell yeah! We've been waiting over a week to see Kim's wedding dress in all its Vera Wang glory. People Magazine paid through the nose to have first dibs on the wedding pictures, but they're finally here! We'd just like to point out that Kim had not one, not even two, but three custom made Vera Wang dresses for her nuptials, so we haven't really been fussy with which one we clapped eyes on first. Equally, we'd be happy with just one Vera Wang wedding dress... 

I personally was a bit miffed when it was announced that Kim's dress code was black and white. Because you can really only go one of two ways with that colour scheme - emulating and possibly upstaging the bride, or looking like you're heading to a funeral. Not sure which is more appropriate/the lesser of two evils, but then again the Kardashians always like to defy the norm. 

As the picture above proves, my theory of bride upstaging is ringing truer than ever. Although no one is close to stealing Kim's thunder (because everyone knows she is the prettiest Kardash and when you're wearing a Vera Wang original, no one can come close to upstaging you) but I cant help but think a different colour for the bridesmaids would have made Kim and her gorgeous gown stand out from her bridesmaids even more. Especially since they too were kitted out in good old Vera Wang - ivory silk Organza gowns, if you please. 

Colour scheme aside, these pictures only confirm what we already know: the Kardashian's have one of the most flawless gene pools in existence, Kris (mother - not hubby; so easy to get confused) really is one hell of a great event planner and it really did look like a modern day fairytale. Rumour had it that Kim wanted her wedding to be the US version of our Royal Wedding…and you know what? She just might have got her wish!

The Kardashians work on OPI nail polish

To add to their extensive list of of collaborations, the sisters Kardashian will be collaborating with Nicole by OPI for their own special nail polish range. They join the likes of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and the stars of Glee to work with OPI - looks like they are snapping up all of the hottest Hollywood celebs.

We love the Kardashian sisters just as much as (if not way more) than the next person, but we don't like to see them put their name to just anything just for the sake of it - it is ok to say no sometimes too. But we think nail polish is a step in the right direction (unlike the whole toilet tissue fiasco; can someone please tell us what all that was about?!) After all, the Kardashians are a stunning family, so putting their name to any beauty product will be received well.

Kim Kardashian's Cosmopolitan Turkey upset

Kim Kardashian has made no secret of the fact that she is Armenian and proud, which is why we aren't surprised to learn that she was upset that Cosmopolitan Turkey featured her on their front cover during Armenia's Genocide Remembrance Day (April 24) without her permission.

The image used also happens to be the same picture featured on the first ever Armenian Cosmopolitan issue. 

The reality TV star took to her blog to express her feelings, and said:

"Cosmopolitan Magazine has a number of international editions all around the world that run in various territories, and when I did this shoot for the international covers I had no idea that Turkey was planning to run my story on their cover THIS month, considering Genocide Remembrance Day is this month."

Ms Kardashian went on to say that she believes it was only a misunderstanding and it is inevitable that mistakes and miscommunications can sometimes happen. 

We're glad to hear that all has been forgiven!

Kim Kardashian covers Cosmopolitan UK May 2011

We can't help but think there's a bit of Kardashian sister rivalry going on. Just yesterday we posted pictures of younger sister Khloe's front cover for the first ever edition of Cosmopolitan Middle East. Now this cover of Kim Kardashian on the same magazine for the same month has just surfaced. If sibling rivalry means we have more Kardashians, then we sure aren't complaining. Both covers differ from each other, just as the two sisters do individually, so there shouldn't be any rivalry about it as they both look stunning. 

And who better to cover The Body Issue than the wondrously curvaceous Miss Kim Kardashian! The magazine is officially out on 7 April.

Khloe Kardashian covers first Cosmopolitan Middle East

As much as we love the Kardahsian sisters, we think it's quite nice when they fly solo occasionally, as it really gives each individual a chance to shine. Khloe Kardashian has done just that, and has produced some beautiful photographs for the magazine. The interview looks like it's going to be a great read too - the Khloe Kardashian personality we know and love, no matter how outspoken!

The best of the Kids Choice Awards 2011

The Oscars may have been done and dusted but that doesn't mean it's the end of awards season, and more importantly Award Season fashion. The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards always churn out some fantastic fashion choices from some of the hottest and most popular celebrities in the world. 

Here's our pick of the best dressed for this year's ceremony. 

Kim Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner opted for cutesy LWDs (little white dresses) to comply with the youthful feel of the ceremony, whereas Kourtney went for a different look - a hot pink maxi dress which still worked wonders. 

Willow Smith's gold romper was nothing short of fabulous, and Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez went for contrasting looks but rocked them both equally. Selena's shorts and top combo was both contemporary yet stylish, and Miley's evening dress still looked youthful and elegant, and not too formal thanks to the pretty floral print.

Hollywood's youngest and finest for Destination Op

Some of the freshest and hottest stars of Hollywood have joined forces to model for the new Spring/Summer Destination Op campaign. 

We're really getting into MTV's Hellcats at the moment, so really glad to see Aly Michalka in the campaign. Joining her, are Glee badass Mark Salling, Chord Overstreet, Brenda Song, Rob Kardashian and Kat Graham. 

The collection is available exclusively to Walmart stores. Oh, to live in America...

The Kardashian clan cover Redbook magazine

The Kardashian girls, Jenner girls, and a gorgeous little man are the stars of Redbook magazine. 

Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie and little Mason (phew!  Don't think we missed anyone..) cover Redbook for some fab pictures and a great interview. 

Just a small snippet:

"It's annoying when I hear, 'What do your girls do?'" says mom Kris. "Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show. And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that's a huge misconception—that the girls don't work. They work 25 hours a day. And that they don't have any talent? They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show."

The magazine is out 12 April 2011. Can't wait!
