Karlie Kloss for H&M's A/W lookbook

Virtual Shoe Rack: Charlotte Olympia sandals

Slightly obsessed with chunky heels these days. These black Rio platform sandals would perfectly complement both a summer daytime dress as well as something a little more glam for eveningwear.

Dream Wardrobe Piece: Yves Saunt Laurent necklace

You can never go wrong with accessorising a black top or dress with a statement necklace, and this YSL long agate necklace is a beautiful example.

Kylie Minogue covers InStyle Australia

The pint sized Australian diva actually covers three separate covers for the InStyle issue - looks like they can'y get enough of the elder Minogue sister either.

Add to Shopping Bag: River Island waisted dress

Orange stripe prom dress; £34.99;
River Island. This is very reminiscent of a certain Marc Jacobs maxi dress the lowly First Lady was spotted in…we love!

Rosie Huntington Whitely for Elle UK July

If you needed some evidence as to why this beauty was voted the sexiest woman in the world, this is pretty much it. The subscriber's edition of Elle magazine was shot by Terry Tsiolis - now we just have to wait and see what the 'news-stand' version of the cover will look like.

Daily Style Crush: Carrie Underwood

If this dress was any shorter, we may have had to glance over our 'Am I wearing a dress?' guide that we published yesterday. Luckily, Carrie Underwood makes it work not only with her enviable figure, but with the way she styled the whole thing - a style crush if ever there was one.

Doutzen Kroes for L'Oreal Lip shine

The latest set of lipsticks to hit the L'Oreal lip shine collection are finally here! We love the products, and we love the breathtaking picture of Doutzen Kroes - what a perfect spokesmodel for the brand. If Barbie were real, we think she'd look just like this!

Dream Wardrobe Piece: Lily & Lionel scarf

Can never resist a bit of patriotic national pride for our capital city!

Dress or Long Top? The eternal dilemma!

Here's some light entertainment for you this morning; we found this lurking about on buzzfeed.com and had to share. If you're one of those girls who faces the life-long dilemma of not knowing whether certain items of clothing are long tops or dresses (similar to the leggings/jeggings and trousers problem), this guide should put any doubts you have to rest.

Add to Shopping Bag: French Connection gillet

Afghan embroidery gillet; £77; French Connection.

Heidi Mount in stunning Louis Vuitton video

Wow, this video's a bit powerful isn't it? It features the gorgeous Heidi Mount, who is showcasing some of Louis Vuitton's finest Spring/Summer 2011 collections. You can check it out in a higher definition and see some other fab videos at Nowness.com.

Diane Von Furstenberg's new fragrance

Another perfume post today - we spoil you! Miss Diane Von Furstenberg has designed a brand new perfume and it's aimed specifically at the powerful woman. The DIANE fragrance which will appear in eau de parfum format, as well as other beauty products, will have strong scents of both frangipani and violets. You can get your hands on it in October, ladies.

Virtual Handbag Rail: Marc by Marc Jacobs tote

Nothing says casual daytime chic better; agreed?

Bar Refaeli for Especially Escada

Bar Refaeli is the face of the brand new Escada fragrance, Especially Escada. The scent was apparently inspired by the smell of 'morning dew glistening on a bright rose' - so expect lots of hints of rose in it. We can't wait to smell it when it officially launches in August. Loving the campaign though - they captured the essence of it perfectly.

Abbey Lee Kershaw covers Vogue Japan June

The bleached eyebrows are still very much the hot trend if this cover is anything to go by. Abbey Lee Kershaw is quite the versatile model, but we barely recognised her on this Vogue Japan cover. Not that we're complaining though, she looks every bit as fierce and endearing as we always know her to be. Loving the 'highlighter' colours theme the whole front cover has going on too - if not for a summer cover, then when?

Daily Style Crush: Mischa Barton

Mischa Barton has received her fair share of criticism for some of her outfit choices in the past, but this definitely won't be one of them. She embraced London's bright and sunny weather in a super-stylish Matthew Williamson blouse from the latest Autumn/Winter collection, and a very gorgeous pleated yellow skirt from the Willow Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The Charlotte Olympia platforms were the cherry on top of a very delicious cake.

Dream Wardrobe Piece: Diane von Furstenberg rompie

Bright, breezy, colourful, totally reminiscent of summer? What else would you want from an outfit suitable for the sunshine?

Add to Shopping Bag: Topshop waist blouse

Rose print waist blouse; £38.50; Topshop.

Justin Bieber's Someday fragrance commercial

Last week we told you about the Bieber's debut perfume, and now you can see the video commercial in its entirety. Should girlfriend Selena Gomez be worried about the blonde model in the video? It appears not, as the pair were spotted canoodling in the summer sun in Maui - aww. Will you buying Justin Bieber's scent?

The Young Hollywood Awards

There were many monochromatic looks on this year's Young Hollywood Awards red carpet. We were excited to see what Miu Miiu's newest recruit Hailee Steinfeld rocked up in, and we were not left disappointed. She naturally sported a Miu Miu look, and chose a very smart looking blouse and skirt combo. She likes to experiment on the red carpet with fun and girly numbers and also more sophisticated ones; although we do prefer it when she dresses for age, we thought this look still worked somehow.

Also impressing on the red carpet were Camilla Belle in a Tom Ford suit - we loved the girl-tux look on Leighton Meester and Olivia Wilde last year, and we love it now.  Lucy Hale turned up in a royal blue lacy GUiSHEM mini dress and Giuliana Rancic wore a red hot Gabriela Cadena mini dress - it definitely stood out amongst the predominantly black and white looks.

Lady Gaga covers Rolling Stone Magazine

Mother Monster Lady Gaga adorns the front cover of the latest Rolling Stone Magazine to hit the shelves. As usual, Gaga is sporting very different look, proving that she gets more versatile by the day. This time she tones down the shock factor and appears somewhat 'normal' - well, as normal as you would associate with Lady Gaga. This just goes to prove that we love her when she at her most outrageous (hatching out of eggs and horn additions galore included) and when she is the Gaga version of 'natural'. We're also very glad to see the return of the hair bow!

Virtual Shoe Rack: Alexander McQueen ankle boots

Just because the weather's picking up a bit, doesn't mean we should neglect beautiful closed footwear. These Alexander McQueen embossed leather ankle boots are blowing our minds. Think of the outfit possibilities - think of the heads that will turn!

Christopher Kane revamps London Taxis

Londoners, keep a beady eye out for these babies. One hundred taxis have been given the Christopher Kane treatment, which come complete with their own mobile phone chargers inside, and the classic Kane 'celestial print' from the 2011 Resort collection on the front so you can recognise them. The bigger picture is a sponsorship deal between Christopher Kane and Vodafone; passengers can even pay for their journey using their mobile phone. Well, it has us talking, and we'd love to hail one of these beauties down. Let us know if you've seen, or better yet, been in one of the Kane-cabs.

Kate Middleton wears £175 Reiss dress to meet the Obamas

Kate Middleton is probably one of the most influential women in fashion now, and Michelle Obama is married to one of the most influential and powerful men in the world, so it was understandable that the world was on standby and waiting with baited breath to see what the two ladies would be wearing when they came face to face.

The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton could have worn any dress her heart desired, but opted to wear a simple, albeit gorgeous, dress from Reiss. This makes it so much easier for fans of the Duchess to get her exact look; if they can manage to get onto the website (it crashed due to over-demand almost instantly) before the dress sells out, they only have to part with £175. The Duchess may have played it safe with the colour and the simple accessories, but the First Lady was a little bit more daring with her choices. Michelle Obama added a splash of colour to her wardrobe and embraced the sunshine with a very on-trend pink cropped jacktet - we loved the two different styles on display by the two women - both style icons in their own right.

Daily Style Crush: Victoria Beckham

Maternity fashion at its best, courtesy of Victoria Beckham. Maybe not at its most comfortable or convenient, but certainly at its most stylish. Victoria Beckham stunned in one of her designs at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where she was in attendance to witness Simon Fuller getting his own star. This design was paraded on the catwalk in a gorgeous bright purple colour; we'd love to see Mrs Beckham in some of the more vibrant pieces from the collection to mix it up a little bit.

Keira Knightley covers Flaunt magazine

We think this is an outfit even Barbie herself would be proud of strutting her stuff in - so much pink and we love it - even if brights weren't in this season, we would still be lusting after the pinkness - although perhaps a tad more secretly.

It's nice to see Keira Knightley on the more experimental end of fashion. She usually does demure, elegant and classy, and she does it brilliantly - as every lady of Chanel should - but we like seeing this new side to her as well.

Elle MacPherson's bridal lingerie collection

This isn't the first lingerie collection Elle 'The Body' MacPherson has put her name to, but it's the first one aimed specifically at the blushing bride. The 'intimates' collection comes in both cream and white, and is also available in Elle MacPherson's D-G sizes for the more curvaceous bride. What's more, the collection is completely and utterly affordable for every bride - the Fly Butterfly garter is only £19, while the torsolette (first image) retails for just £61. Considering the price of all the other details of the wedding, not forgetting the all important dress, the lingerie collection is extremely reasonably priced.

Virtual Handbag Rail: Diane Von Furstenberg penny bag

This penny leather bag is all about the vintage infusions and we are in love.

Vogue Paris Collections A/W 2012

As if Vogue isn't a bible enough, the Vogue Collections editions that come around every season to showcase the hottest items are also fashion bibles in their own right. Take a look at the cover for the Vogue Paris Collections for the Autumn Winter 2012 season - such a tease for what's inside - although you wouldn't think it was for an autumn/winter collection if the vibrance of the garments is anything to go by. Here are a few snippets from the special edition (all chosen by Emmanuelle Alt of course):

Marine Vacth newest face of YSL

Yves Saint Laurent took time out of their Louboutin-wars to announce the new face of their women's fragrance with the release of this sensational picture shot by Alexandre Guirkinger. The beauty in question is Marine Vacth, who has apparently just finished shooting a French film. Keep your eyes peeled for this gorgeous girl - we predict she'll be a huge hit!

Fashion House Wars - YSL vs Christian Louboutin

It's all kicking off at the fashion houses again, and the week's barely even begun. To recap very quickly, Yves Saint Laurent are hitting back at Christian Louboutin, who filed a lawsuit against them earlier this year for allegedly copying the red soles of their shoes.

Yves Saint Laurent fired back with the reasoning that Louboutin didn't invent red soles, and even gave the example that YSL themselves had made red soled shoes from as early as the seventies; they also referenced Dorothy's famous ruby slippers from the Wizard of Oz as an argument in favour of their case.

Yves Saint Laurent aren't the only ones on the receiving end of Louboutin legal action - they also sued Carmen Steffens for the same thing. The house of Louboutin understandably takes all copying very seriously, as they have trademarked the red soles with the US Patent and Trademark office, and YSL (or anyone else who manufactures and sells red soled shoes) are infringing upon the trademark.

We don't know about you, but whenever we think of Louboutins, red soles instantly come to mind, and when we think of red soles, we naturally think of Louboutins. So we think Christian Loubotuin definitely have a case on their hands. We really hope the issue gets resolved soon though, because we are equally in love with Yves Saint Laurent and hate to see two of our favourite French fashion houses at loggerheads.

What do you make of all of the hoo-har?

Dream Wardrobe Piece: Dolce and Gabbana dress

As seen on the gorgeous Christina Aguilera, burlesque red is still very much a hot colour. The season may be all about brights, but red hot never goes out of style - not if Dolce and Gabbanna have anything to say about it.

Barbara Palvin for Chanel Le Blanc

What an angelic, pure campaign! Perfectly fitting for the product as well - beautiful!

Isabeli Fontana covers Vogue Paris June/July

Wow - what a difference a darker, more dramatic hair colour makes. Miss Fontana is no stranger to photoshoots or even front cover shoots, but this is something else on a whole different scale. We are actually blown away with this picture, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. Gone are the long, light, flowing locks and a new sophisticated womanly crop (or possibly a wig) adorns the head of the Brazilian beauty.

The styling, and even the layout of the front of the magazine only escalates the sheer beauty and wow factor and brings out the gorgeous colour of Miss Fontana's eyes. Emmanuelle Alt is clearly upping her game - three breathtaking covers in just as many months.

Daily Style Crush: Selena Gomez

Disney stars seem to grow up overnight these days. Selena Gomez stunned at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas - and there was a LOT of outfits to be wowed by that night; not to mention a bondage themed performance courtesy of Rihanna and Britney Spears

Miss Gomez played the role of loving and supporting girlfriend to boyfriend Justin Bieber when he picked up a staggering total of six awards, but we bet all eyes were solely on her on the Red Carpet. She was dressed in a gorgeous thigh-split Dolce and Gabbana A/W 2011 gown and beautiful Guiseppe Zanotti bow sandals - perfection.

Balmain launches new line in September

This just in - The house of Balmain has just announced that they will be launching brand new menswear and womenswear lines for the Spring/Summer 2012 season. It's set to launch in September and will be named after Pierre Balmain himself. Cannot wait for more on this! The image is taken from the current A/W 2011 collection.

Dannii Minogue for Modelco Fibre Lash

For all you Dannii fans, this year's X Factor is seemingly going to be a duller place without a weekly dose of your favourite Australian judge. So, we're going to do our best to try and fill the Dannii shaped hole in your hearts, and we're going to start by posting two gorgeous pictures of the yummy mummy from her latest campaign. Miss Minogue has lent her face to the Modelco Fibre Lash advertising campaign; what do you think? Don't forget, you can also catch Dannii in the latest Marks and Spencer adverts too.

Beyonce runs the world in gorgeous designer outfits

Beyonce has always been a stylish lady. She has designers queueing up left right and centre to dress her, and is probably knee deep in designer freebies on a daily basis. But we think Beyonce may have outdone her previous self, and possibly even Lady Gaga (now there's thought) in the 'most designer gear for one music video' category. Here are a few of our absolute favourite garments from the Run The World music video; and believe us, there was a LOT to choose from:

And of course, to see the beautiful Beyonce in designer-clad action, check out the video below. We don't know who is fiercer; the lion and hyenas or Miss Beyonce herself? On this occasion, we're going to go for the latter.
