If you thought some garments were overpriced and not what you would want to pay for them, perhaps you should do your shopping at the Gap, or rather, the website dedicated to bringing you bargain Gap clothes. Sort of. The Gapmyprice website has selected 15 items which it calls 'haggle-worthy' and enables customers to choose their own price for them. Customers can submit their suggested price, and it will either be approved or denied. If a customer is denied three times, a final price is presented to them and they have a choice to pretty much take it or leave it. You are then given a voucher code to download and can redeem it in stores (unfortunately you can't do it online), so everyone wins.
You get something at a fraction of the price, and their stores get more customers. Not sure what to make of this type of shopping; it's certainly a bold and interesting move, but begs the question: just how broke IS the Gap?!
