Adele Covers British Vogue October
It's all about the UK magazine covers this morning isn't it? We genuinely couldn't be happier with this news: Adele is the cover girl for British Vogue's October issue; and she is looking mighty good! Adele has received worldwide recognition for that haunting, effortless and in our opinion, flawless voice of hers and her ability to pen some of the greatest songs of the last couple of years also hasn't gone unnoticed. We are delighted that the fashion world is slowly but surely recognising her too; let's face it, Vogue is a pretty good place to start - there's no turning back now!
Adele looks beautiful on the Vogue cover, shot by Sølve Sundsbø, as does she in one of the editorial images we got a sneaky peek at. We were, however, afraid that she would be heavily airbrushed, thus sparking the same kind of controversy as US Vogue back in 2009 when Adele was photographed for some editorial and airbrushed to look slimmer. Bad move, Anna. We can safely say that from what we see here before us, there's none of that going on, so Adele fans (of which the numbers are stratospheric) can breathe a sigh of relief.
