Melanie Laurent for Christian Dior Hypnotic Poison
The Poison perfumes from Dior are some of my personal favourite scents, Hypnotic and Pure in particular. This ad campaign featuring the gorgeous Melanie Laurent makes me love everything about that round, red bottle just that little bit more. Hypnotised? We know we aren't the only ones.

John Galliano's Verdict in a Nutshell
We tweeted about the verdict pretty much as soon as it got out yesterday, so here's a few more of the details surrounding John Galliano's trial. The ex-Dior creative director was found guilty of racism and anti-semitism by the French court, although as we tweeted yesterday, he won't be serving any jail time. Anti Semitic comments in France usually lead to a six month stint in prison and/or a fine but John Galliano escaped a jail sentence because he apologised to the victims profusely.
JG initially was given a fine of €4,000, which was later suspended and a revised fine of €2,000 was issued. Galliano wasn't present at the hearing but he is said to be relieved with the verdict. Do you think the judge's final decision was fair?

WATCH Charlize Theron in Dior's J'adore Advert
She's back! Obviously Charlize Theron wasn't just going to be a one-time J'adore girl - she did such an amazing job the first time Dior would have to be pretty stupid to replace her so soon! This video is too brilliant for words; it captures, in our opinion, the true essence of not only the fragrance, but the brand in its entirety. Dior clearly weren't content with having just one style icon in their video, oh no. Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Marlene Dietrich also make an appearance. Intrigued? Watch the video and find out what we mean!

Get Paris Hilton's look for less
Paris Hilton's look would make any mother proud; the socialite was papped whilst celebrating her mother's birthday a few days ago, and we absolutely love what she was wearing. Our hawk-eyes especially couldn't help noticing the Lady Dior bag on Miss Hilton's arm; still a highly coveted item.
Recreating Paris's look is easy with a cute and girly tea dress, nude heels (you can also substitute them for flat pumps, but we just loved these Kurt Geiger heels too much to not include them) and a snake print bag. This Cavalli one is just gorgeous and from another one of our favourite designers. Down from £225, it's an absolute steal!
1. Littlewoods; £65…2. Deepa Gurnani; £35…3. Rosie Fox; £24…4. Topshop; £65…5. Kurt Geiger; £95...6. Just Cavalli; £112.50

The movers and shakers of the Fashion Houses
It's all happening this week isn't it?
On a seemingly unrelated to John Galliano's replacement note, Givenchy is getting a brand new CEO, a lady who goes by the name of Susan Whitely, otherwise known as the now former CEO of Alexander McQueen. According to WWD, Whitely will be replacing Fabrizio Malverdi, who will be taking over Dior Homme. Keeping up?
There is still no solid word on what's going on at the house of Dior though, and Riccardo Tisci taking over John Galliano's position is still very much up in the air, or at least, unconfirmed as far as we know.
It's all very exciting stuff, but we kind of just want to know what's going on now; there's only so much speculation we can handle!

Top 5 Lipsticks for Kissing Friday
As it's Kissing Friday, we decided to compile list of what we think the best lipsticks and colours are, to give you luscious, full, juicy and utterly kissable lips.
Our Top 5 is:
Mac: Mac lipstick comes in virtually any colour you can think of, but classic red is a perfect choice for smooching.
Dior Addict: Kate Moss has recently fronted a campaign for Dior Addict, but we've always been a little bit in love with their lipsticks from the word 'go'. Sketch pink is a bright, summery alternative to the classic red, and is certainly more youthful.
Barry M: How on earth did anyone live without the Barry M range? Orange is the colour of the season, and contrary to what many people may think, it's a shade that suits a wide range of skin tones. And it certainly makes one heck of a statement.
Chanel: Again, Chanel have never disappointed with their extensive range of lipsticks. Dark lips are still all the rage; think Marina Diamandis and Jessie J - how much more contemporary and stylish can you get?
Yves Saint Laurent: YSL seem to excel in more than one field of cosmetics, and lipsticks is just one of them. This is a personal favourite colour of mine; not too out-there for everyday wear and not too generic either. It glides on and moisturises lips and isn't a season specific colour, meaning you can have a precious pink pout all year round. Plus, the casing is beautiful!

Catwalk catch-up: John Galliano A/W 2011 RTW
The world of fashion is an unpredictable one, and this could well be the last time we are writing about the latest John Galliano collection, which is why we have decided to put it up in its entirety. That, and because we found it increasingly difficult to select only a few key pieces from the small range. Although there were only 20 looks in the collection, it was relatively diverse, and featured many of the Galliano styles that we have associated with him over the years, including his love of fur, slimline dresses and large and in charge headgear.
The models strutted their stuff to the dulcet tones of Adele and Coldplay, denoting that the atmosphere was calm and mellow, which was probably a much needed change amidst the Galliano furore of the past week.
