Instead of getting her beauty sleep in preparation for London Fashion Week, on September 15th Kate Moss and some of her celeb pals and fellow Rimmel ambassadors are expected to hotfoot it to Battersea Power Station to celebrate the official launch of 'The Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick Collection' - to use its full name. Kate's been the face of Rimmel for ten years and this is the first collection she's personally designed.

Georgia May Jagger and Solange Knowles are among the celebs and Rimmel girls expected to turn up and support Mossy. Don't expect to keep an eye out for Kate's limo so you can get a cheeky pic, because the lady in question is arriving by helicopter. That's right - helicopter! 

What we wouldn't give to be on that party guest list…

Kate Moss Helps Stella McCartney Launch Children's Collection

Despite having her own Rimmel Collection to worry about, Kate Moss was on hand to help long time pal Stella McCartney launch her childrenswear collection. And don't they look chummy! Even though the pieces will be more than a tight squeeze for us, we're looking forward to seeing the Spring/Summer 2012 collection and cooing over them. Do you think Kate Moss got some freebies for Lila Grace? We're pretty sure we'll be seeing lots of the celebrity children walking around in some Stella McCartney originals. Suri Cruise would make the perfect little model for them!

You didn't think the only promotion for Kate Moss's Rimmel collection was those shots of the lipsticks, did you? Kate really doesn't do things by halves, does she? Check her out in this video where you will see her getting her rock chick on and strumming a Union Jack themed guitar as well as prancing around topless…just another regular day at the office for Kate Moss. We do love her!

First Look: Kate Moss Rimmel Lipsticks

Not going to lie, we actually forgot about Kate Moss's lipstick collaboration with Rimmel - we were too focused on her wedding and her stunning much-awaited appearance on America's September Vogue. But now that all of that excitement's over, we can give her lipsticks our full, undivided attention.

The range features seven high-shine shades but if they're successful, we won't rule out Kate adding more colours into the mix. You can get your hands - or lips - on the collection on September 7th, where it will be exclusive to Boots until the 28th - then you can go crazy and grab them from everywhere else!

If Mossy's Topshop collection sales are anything to go by, we wouldn't bank on these staying around for long - we predict a sell-out! Which shade is your favourite?

This isn't the first Rimmel campaign the 500 Days of Summer actress has fronted, but it is the first where her face has been so overly Photoshopped and distorted that she's barely recognisable. 

We had to do a triple take to make sure we weren't seeing things when we first saw this campaign. If there was a specific look the people at Rimmel were searching for, don't you think they should have just hired a model that naturally possessed the image they were looking for, instead of taking away every original feature that makes their celebrity endorser unique? 

Just when we thought the beauty world was taking a giant step forward with the release of the first unretouched make-up campaign, it seems to be taking a step back. 

Fans of Rimmel and Miss Deschanel we are; fans of this current campaign we are not.  What do you think?
