Kate Middleton to Cover American Vogue?

That Anna Wintour can be one very persuasive editor-in-chief, so if she is pressing Kate Middleton to cover her magazine, we have a feeling she will be more than happy to oblige. Anna Wintour is apparently adamant to get the new Royal to front American Vogue in the near future. She has enlisted the help of Mario Testino to help convince the Duchess, as he will inevitably be the one behind the lens if and when it happens.

A source told the New York Post: "Anna has been speaking to Mario about winning over Catherine. She is really pressing him to shoot Catherine for the cover. Every magazine has been trying to get Catherine, and many assume it will eventually be Vogue. But even with the Mario Testino relationship, it is not clear when this will happen. The palace must approve it, and they are very protective of Catherine."

Come on Palace, get on board - you know this will be amazing!

Karlie Kloss's Naked Allure Shoot Makes People Uncomfortable

More editorial controversy now, (it's been a few days so it's about time!) this time courtesy of Karlie Kloss - good, clean, wholesome teenager Karlie Kloss. She hasn't done anything scandalous per se, but her Allure editorial pictures shot by Mario Testino are a bit too racy for some people's liking.

Top fashion site 'Fashionising' had this to say: "there’s no allure to it and, frankly, it’s not that much better than what you’d expect to find in a whole range of low-brow men’s titles…"

Karlie's 'implied nudity' (i.e. being naked but without showing it) has made many people uncomfortable, but I personally don't think it's any cruder than many of those Parisian Vogue editorials where models are near enough completely starkers. The black and white shot in particular is shot beautifully and Karlie is absolutely breathtaking. What do you think?

Lara Stone Covers British GQ October

Your second Lara Stone story in just as many days - fans of David Walliams's sexy wife, rejoice! Mario Testino was on hand to photograph the stunner for the GQ cover, as the magazine name her the woman of the year. Do you think the right person was crowned the winner?

Lancome’s Colour Design Campaign

Daria Werbowy, Arlenis Sosa and Elettra Wiedemann show that they aren’t afraid of large quantities of colour. The three colourful beauties are photographed by Mario Testino for Lancome’s brand new Colour Design Campaign. The concept splash of colour doesn’t even come close to this colour explosion – we don’t quite know where to look. Bring on summer!

A sneak preview of Emma Watson's Lancome perfume ad

We were going to wait until the high-res official image came through, but we wanted to get it out there as soon as possible, as Emma Watson fans have waited long enough to see it. The Tresor Midnight Rose fragrance is light, summery and youthful, which encapsulates everything the girl who was voted best dressed woman of the year stands for, don't you agree? Mario Testino has once again done a fine photography job.

Kate Moss for Vogue Brazil

It's been a few days since the last one but you can rest assured a Kate Moss post is never too far away. Mario Testino has once again captured the supermodel looking sensational. Too right that he was so proud of the shot that his name is emblazoned on the front of the cover (or so we assume.)

Brand new picture of Prince William and Kate Middleton released

There’s less than 24 hours to go until the Royal Wedding, and to add to the hype and excitement of the nation, a brand new picture of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been released.

The black and white photo was shot by none other than Mario Testino, the man behind the lens for the couple’s official engagement pictures. The ‘informal picture' was always our favourite of the two (an opinion shared by many), and this photograph is of the same nature: casual, fun, and most importantly, depicting love and happiness. The couple genuinely look like your average loved-up couple who cant wait to embark upon a new adventure and start their new life together as husband and wife.

The latest Burberry Brights S/S 2011 campaigns

Behold the latest Burberry Brights ad campaigns featuring the one and only Cara Delevingne. Another stunningly British campaign shot on Brighton beach by Mario Testino.

Daria Werbowy for Stefanel S/S 2011

One of Mario Testino's latest efforts is this
Stefanel Spring/Summer 2011 campaign featuring the beautiful Daria Werbowy. Gorgeous products; stunning model and flawless photography - but then again we wouldn't expect any less from Mr Testino, would we?

Keira Knightley for Chanel Coco Mademoiselle

Miss Knightley never disappoints; the newest campaign photographed by Mario Testino is no exception. Flawless, and a wonderful representation of pure English rose beauty.

The latest Burberry S/S 2011 campaign

We'll be doing a post on Burberry every single day at this rate, but we of course aren't complaining!

Sophie Kennedy Clark and Matthew Beard are the latest duo to form the Burberry dream team as they are April's stars of the brand's Spring/Summer campaign.

Brighton beach continues to provide the setting for the campaigns which try to showcase fabulous Britishness. Hats off again to Mario Testino for showing the world what Britain has to offer.

The video only reinforces what a gorgeous duo the latest Burberry stars are, and of course, how fabulous the clothes are - especially against a Brighton beach backdrop.

Don't forget to watch the live stream of the Burberry show in Beijing at 1:30 pm GMT on Burberry's official website!

British Vogue's Royal Wedding Special May edition

And speaking of Natalia Vodianova, she is lending her face to the one and only Vogue for one of their May covers in celebration of the Royal Wedding. Mario Testino shot Ms Vodianiva, as well as Lara Stone and Freja Beha Erichsen for three individual commemorative covers of UK Vogue, all of course with a wedding theme.

Lara Stone in American Vogue April

Everyone's been obsessed with the US Vogue April cover; and why wouldn't they when Rihanna was their cover star for the first time?

But, as well as the beautiful and glossy Rihanna editorial (which is an excellent read by the way), is another editorial which really stood out to us. These pictures of Lara Stone are simply breathtaking, so we just had to share them! Mrs David Walliams was styled by Edward Enninful, and he had her sporting some of the season's hottest pieces and prints from  Louis Vuitton and Missoni amongst others.

And of course, when Mario Testino is behind a shoot, it's a given that it's going to turn out great. (These are just a few of the images, check out American Vogue for the full selection)

Anna Wintour on the Wall Street Journal Magazine cover

So excited about this!

Wall Street Journal's lifestyle magazine WSJ is going to uncover just that little bit more of the enigma that is Anna Wintour. It looks like it's going to delve right into the mind of the fabulous Vogue Editor-in-Chief, where she will hopefully divulge information about her life as one of the most powerful women in the media. It looks like it's going to be more career-heavy as opposed to a huge personal piece, but when your career is Editor-in-Chief for the fashion bible of the world, there's hardly going to be a dull moment.

The picture, shot by Mario Testino (naturally) is a huge tease but so appropriate for the nature of the article; we can't wait to read the actual thing.

Kate Winslet's picture and video for Lancome lipstick

It appears that we can't seem to get enough of Kate Winslet these days; but we aren't complaining.

The ads for her Lancome lipstick campaign have finally emerged, and may we just say that she is looking as fresh faced and flawless as the day she first appeared on our screens.

Mario Testino puts his lens into action and captures Miss Winslet's natural beauty perfectly.

Although there has been some retouching for the pictures, there is clearly no need for it. This is one place where Photoshop's duties aren't needed: check out the video for proof of aforementioned flawlessness!

Kate Winslet covers British Vogue

British Vogue, British beauty. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

Shot by the photographic genius that is Mario Testino, the entire photoshoot exudes fabulousness. We had to do a triple take when we first saw the image to the right; who would have thought Miss Winslet could look so different?

And my, what a figure!
