Did L'Oreal Lighten Freida Pinto's Skin?

Another controversy today, again concerning that pesky Photoshop. It seems to do a lot more harm than it does good these days, does anyone else agree? Freida Pinto is arguably one of the most beautiful, natural young actresses around these days, so why her face requires anything more than a quick once over with the airbrush is beyond us.

Although it's obvious that her skin is a lot lighter than we know it to be from films and red carpet appearances, it is possible that it could be a genuine trick of the light and the post-prod editing just involved the usual round of over-airbrushing. Who knows; we don't think L'Oreal will admit to actively, purposely making Freida's skin lighter so we guess we'll just have to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Diane Kruger Sparkles for InStyle October's 10th Anniversary Issue

Looking at InStyle October 2011 cover proves our theory that Diane Kruger can do no wrong! And the way InStyle are going lately, neither can they! Freida Pinto and Beyonce covered the all-important September issue for the UK and US respectively and it seems InStyle are continuing their goddess-cover-star streak by adding Diane Kruger to the mix for their October issue.

This is no ordinary issue mind, it's InStyle's 10th Anniversary issue, hence the glitter and sparkle. The decision to put Diane on the cover of this milestone issue was perfect. The Dolce and Gabbana dress has to get a mention too - we've seen variations of their star print dress on countless red carpets and mag covers, but this has to be our favourite by far; how can anything compete with gold Dolce and Gabbana star print? Especially when Diane Kruger is modelling it! Nice one, InStyle - we knew we had a good reason for reading you religiously!

The Glamour May 2011 girls

Single cover stars are obviously a thing of the past, as all the glossies seem to be getting on board with featuring more than one cover girl for their magazines. Glamour is following im the footsteps of Vogue and Marie Claire to name but a few to choose multiple cover stars.

They have selected three gorgeous girls to do the task of fronting their May issue - we think it's a great decision as it would have been a toughie trying to choose between Freida Pinto, Ashley Greene and Emma Stone. Which of the cover starlets do you love the most?
