Drew Barrymore Poses for Art Of Fashion

Well doesn't Drew Barrymore look pretty? Neiman Marcus decided the Hollywood redhead would be the perfect model for his new Art of Fashion campaign and we can clearly see why!

These images were shot by Norman Jean Roy and to help Drew look even more stunning is a wardrobe full of designer gear. She is kitted out in Valentino, Georgio Armani, Prada, Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Tom Ford, Akris, DKNY and Carolina Herrera. Do excuse us if we left one out by accident.

Who knew she had these high fashion poses in her? She makes it look effortless which obviously means she's doing it right. What a babe! Clearly one of Hollywood's greatest.

Valentino Has Another Award Under His Belt

Not only will Valentino be getting his very own Broadway musical (as we reported last week), but he is now the recipient of a mighty prestigious award. The Couture Council of the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology (that's a bit of a mouthful, so FIT for short/convenience) have honoured the designer with the 2011 Couture Council Award for Artistry of Fashion. If the name sounds familiar to you, you may remember a certain Karl Lagerfeld being honoured with the same award last year (as well as many other designers including Ralph Rucci, Alber Elbaz and Dries Van Noten)

Valentino accepted the award last night at a traditional benefit luncheon (which takes place before every A/W New York Fashion Week) at New York's Lincoln Centre. FIT president, Dr. Joyce F. Brown, said: “We are delighted to have this opportunity to honor Valentino, who, through his timeless and elegant designs, is a legend to all those who love fashion. He is an inspiration not only to students of fashion – like those at FIT – but to his fellow designers as well."

Congratulations to a truly deserving designer!

Get Ready For Valentino: The Musical

We love musicals. We love fashion. Watching the finished result of Valentino's musical will feel like a snowy Christmas morning: excitement with a hint of endless possibility. Imagine the costumes; can we all just stop for a minute and imagine the costumes?!

The legendary designer is keen to make a musical on his life, thus taking his documentary one step further and onto the Broadway stage. His critically acclaimed Valentino: The Last Emperor received rave reviews at the Venice Film Festival back in 2008, but the designer wants even more creative control this time round. Even better, we say!

Totally addicted to Lace

We can't help but get into spring/summer mode now that we've had a few days of sunshine.

One of the key lessons we learnt from last season's catwalks was that lace is hot property, and it's no longer a material reserved for oaps and curtains.

A fair few celebs have also emerged onto the red carpets and vip clubs in lace too, so we know it's a hot trend.

Here are some of our favourite pieces:

1. Topshop; £55… 2. Dorothy Perkins; £16… 3. Asos; £10…4. French Connection; £45…5. Rare; £27…6. Insideout; £185…7. Valentino; £370…8. Topshop; £20
