We know it's all about Wills and Kate these days, but back in 1985, clearly the greatest royal double act was Prince William and his baby brother Harry. Watching this video has actually made us a teeny bit weepy; bless them! Check out Princess Diana as well - never a moment where she isn't elegant and gorgeous. First Look at Balmain's Sister Line

Remember aaaages ago we rather excitedly blogged about Balmain designing a brand new, more affordable diffusion line, which would make its debut during the Spring/Summer 2012 season? Well now we can finally give you a sneaky peek at what Pierre Balmain has been cooking up these past few months. It also doesn't hurt to have a hot blonde model and her rock and roll band help you introduce your sister line to the world, so that's exactly what happened.

It features Abbey Lee and her band Our Mountain frolicking around to the tune of their song Devil's Banquet, kitted out in some of the signature looks from the collection. You can catch the collection in its entirety on Sunday during Paris Fashion Week…our appetite has been well and truly whet and we can't wait to see more! 

Nicola Formichetti Will Unveil Gaga Film At PFW

Exciting, isn't it? Mugler main man and Gaga stylist Nicola Formichetti will be using his Paris Fashion Week womenswear show on Thursday as a platform to unveil a never before seen video of Lady Gaga. The film was directed by Inez and Vinoodh, as were Gaga's 'fashion videos' for 'You and I' and will feature a brand new remix of one of her current songs (no word on which one yet.)

Apparently it isn't the only thing Formichetti has up his sleeve and although that's all we seem to know at the moment, he will be releasing teasers on social networking sites over the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled. We do also know that Lady Gaga has ordered a set of marquise diamonds for her teeth, so we know to expect the unexpected!

Watch Kate Moss's Mango Autumn/Winter 2011 Commercial

Scarlett Johansson may have posed for her final Mango pics last season, but Kate Moss is very much still on the project. Mossy is back for Mango's latest Autumn/Winter campaign, strutting her stuff in a finely choreographed 20 second commercial. But it isn't just any TV commercial oh no - Mango are going all out for this one, broadcasting their advert in 30 different countries. Wow - can't wait to see it on a TV screen! I've personally fallen in love with the red dress, although I can't help but think of the Special K advert where Kate's spinning around in it. Anyone else agree?

WATCH The Brand New Twilight Breaking Dawn Trailer

It's quite good. More than quite good, it's relatively amazing - we had goosebumps! (Call us sad, but we stand by our emotions!) Plus, we get an even better look at Bella's wedding dress, which was deigned by the wonderful Carolina Herrera. It isn't a full shot but it's a lot better than that same teaser pic of K-Stew in a veil (you know the one we mean), so we'll quite happily take it. Hurry up, November - we'll quite happily give up the summer wardrobe for Twilight - R-Pattz can keep us toasty.

Chanel know a thing or two when it comes to nail polishes - the words "rouge noir" prove that, as the shade is one mighty best seller. They've launched a bend new capsule collection of nail polishes and have decided to promote it in a quirky, unique and ultra glamorous way. So make sure you check out the video above, which is a performance of "Chanel's Shade Parade" - a theatre show full of dancing fingers. Sounds kind of weird but trust us, it's actually brilliant. Technically brilliant and artistically brilliant - what more could you want?

Check her out in this video where you will see her getting her rock chick on and strumming a Union Jack themed guitar as well as prancing around topless…just another regular day at the office for Kate Moss. We do love her!

We don't know why Nespresso were adamant on keeping this ad a secret, any George Clooney is good George Clooney. We see nothing wrong with this advert, our favourite eternal bachelor looks positively delicious! Maybe the George crush-age is a bit much, but the guys at Nespresso shot it in the first place, so someone in a suit somewhere must have thought it was a good idea at some point. Opinions?

WATCH & LISTEN To Scarlett Johansson's Bonnie and Clyde

Remember the classic song Bonnie and Clyde? You know the one, the duet between Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg… Well, Scarlett Johansson is showing us that she's a bit of a triple threat (she already has the actress and model titles firmly under her belt) by reminding everyone that she is in fact, also a singer. Her 2008 album flopped miserably, but obviously Scarlett is keen to brush that under the carpet and start afresh.

She teamed up with Lulu Gainsbourg in a bid to recreate the magic. Everyone knows that with a good song, comes a good video. So without further ado, check out the teaser video above to see and hear ScarJo in action.

WATCH Charlize Theron in Dior's J'adore Advert

She's back! Obviously Charlize Theron wasn't just going to be a one-time J'adore girl - she did such an amazing job the first time Dior would have to be pretty stupid to replace her so soon! This video is too brilliant for words; it captures, in our opinion, the true essence of not only the fragrance, but the brand in its entirety. Dior clearly weren't content with having just one style icon in their video, oh no. Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly and Marlene Dietrich also make an appearance. Intrigued? Watch the video and find out what we mean!

WATCH Kristen Stewart in Her First Music Video

Ooo - this is a bit good. Looks like Kristen Stewart is continuing to step out of her comfort zone and we are liking it. First there was her W September cover shoot where she looked less Bella and more Swan in a number of gorgeous outfits (including a Gucci top even worn by Beyonce!) and now this. 

Even though Macus Foster's 'I Was Broken' is a haunting video/song and very much in keeping with the Twilight emotionless slightly morbid theme, we give K-Stew kudos for branching out into the music video field. 

If you want to know why Marcus Foster chose the Twilight girl to appear in his video, it may have something to do with R-Pattz covering his song 'Let Me Sign' for the Twilight Eclipse soundtrack. Robert Pattinson also treated fans to an acoustic rendition of I Was Broken during a rare performance in London. Check it out:

WATCH Lady Gaga's Inez and Vinoodh You and I Vid

Little Monsters if you thought you were just getting a You and I music video, you were sorely mistaken. Mother Monster has treated fans everywhere to FIVE new fashion films to coincide with her newly released single You and I. 

Lady Gaga released the first of the series of videos yesterday; it was entitled Haus of U featuring Nymph and features the singer doing some sexy posing in some barely there attire. It sounds quite raunchy when you put it like that, but actually it's quite tame compared to what we usually see with Gaga - she is sporting a natural look make-up-wise and we like it! 

If you're wondering about the name of the video or if there's a deeper meaning, let us explain: Gaga is expanding on the nymph character portrayed in her original You and I video - you may remember her playing a piano while alter ego Jo Calderone was sitting on top of it? See, it's all coming back to you now!


We like what we see - looking forward to the second and indeed the rest of the fashion films - all shot by dynamic fashion photography duo Inez and Vinoodh. We could easily get used to a fresh faced Gagaloo but we won't count on it being a permanent look for Mother Monster. 

Let's hope this distracts Gaga and her fans alike of the recent Cathy Horyn drama. (Fashion critic Cathy made a slight Gaga criticism which caused the Lady to hit back…full story here) 

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Get Charitable in Honduras

Any readers of Fashion Compendium will know that we totally get behind the good causes and love it when the celebs take time out of their busy schedules to give back.

As avid Olsen fans may know, Mary-Kate and Ashley's clothing line The Row has recently collaborated with TOMS Shoes. So, as part of their new partnership, the twins flew to Honduras to personally donate shoes to children in need. Aww - they could have just sent the shoes in a box with a couple of autographs, but Mary-Kate and Ashley truly got behind the cause and went the extra mile! They also decided to hang with the locals, you know, as you do, and even played football with them. Bless! 

WATCH The Burberry Body TV Commercial

You've all seen the Burberry Body print ads and avid Rosie Huntington Whiteley fans will have even clapped eyes on the behind the scenes video, but today we're bringing you a video of a different kind. We're bringing you the biggie - the TV commercial in all its glory! Now we know why Christopher Bailey and the Burberry boys saved this one for the big day! 

The commercial was directed by CB himself, shot by photography-god Mario Testino in London (naturally) and even features a song penned and sung exclusively for Burberry by The Feeling. Not content with creating a signature Burberry fragrance with a killer campaign, Christopher Bailey has gone one step further - he's created a new ready-to-wear clothing line just for the perfume. The line is called 'Burberry Nude' and here are a few sneaky shots of it:

See, this is why it's all about London! This video recognises 100 years of London fashion and was made by the geniuses at Westfield to mark the opening of their brand new Stratford store. Its grand opening it September 13th - put it in your diaries.

Ps: why has the fashion world gone dance crazy this month? Anna Dello Russo, Raquel Zimmerman and Karen Elson for Lanvin and now this...can't say we are complaining though. Makes the days go just that little bit quicker!
