Another Fashion Compendium favourite for Milan Fashion Week and if we're honest, from the entire Spring/Summer ready-to-wear range this season. Genuinely a little bit obsessed with this Salvatore Ferragamo collection; if we were put on the spot to pick a favourite, we think we'd crumble and probably cry under the pressure! The styling was impeccable for this show - we can't speak for the atmosphere and the music and all the other details as we sadly weren't in Milan to witness it with our own eyes, but from what we can see, it was perfection. Bright, silky, girly, summery goodness - and the loose side-swept beach waves were an added bonus!

Catwalk Catchup: MFW Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2012
Another Fashion Compendium favourite for Milan Fashion Week and if we're honest, from the entire Spring/Summer ready-to-wear range this season. Genuinely a little bit obsessed with this Salvatore Ferragamo collection; if we were put on the spot to pick a favourite, we think we'd crumble and probably cry under the pressure! The styling was impeccable for this show - we can't speak for the atmosphere and the music and all the other details as we sadly weren't in Milan to witness it with our own eyes, but from what we can see, it was perfection. Catwalk Catchup: MFW Missoni Spring/Summer 2012
Really loved the background at Missoni. For all other collections it would almost be distracting but in Missoni's case, it worked with the collection, playing to the crazy mishmash anything goes theme that Missoni perfected so well recently. The clothes on the runway were floaty and girly, with some billowing summer maxi dresses thrown in for good measure.
It would take a fashionista with confidence and a love of colour to pull off these designs on a daily basis, but that's pretty much what the classic Missoni wearer is, wouldn't you agree? The beachwear has also gone down very well with us too - they almost compete with the sun in brightness. We can bet we aren't the only ones who want to see this collection translated into another collaboration with Target, seeing as the current one has been so popular! All hail Angela Missoni - another flawless collection.

Topman T-Shirts Spark Twitter Controversy
Another day, another controversy in the fashion industry. First there was the JC Penney “I’m Too Pretty to Do Homework so my brother has to do it for me" T-shirt, then the Forever 21 "allergic to algebra" tee and now this. Topman are the latest clothing chain to offend people with their T-Shirt slogans, as two of their products were slammed for encouraging sexist remarks as well as condoning and glamourising domestic violence. Dark.
One of the T-Shirts had the slogan: "Nice new girlfriend - what breed is she?" which people complained was sexist, while the other one read: "I'm so sorry, but... You provoked me; I was drunk; I was having a bad day; I hate you; I didn't mean it; I couldn't help it" which was thought to refer to domestic violence.
Topshop's Twitter, Facebook and official website were flooded with comments from outraged and offended shoppers. Some of the comments includes: "Seriously, comparing women to dogs? Classy." and "Topman used to be cool, then they decided to redesign the stores, and now this??? im ashamed." (sic)
The High Street chain has now stopped the sale of the two shirts, but we don't think this is the last Topshop will hear of it.

Giles Deacon for Nine West
We are looking forward to yet another affordable collection, and we hope that since the sisters Middleton stepped out in High street the day after the wedding of the century, more High street collaborations will slowly begin to emerge.
