Kim Kardashian Covers Harper's Bazaar Arabia

Flawlessness personified, wouldn't you agree? According to Kim Kardashian herself (or her blog, at least) this is her first ever magazine cover in the Middle East and this is definitely a great way to make her debut. There are lots of behind the scenes pictures on Kim's Celebuzz site showing her covered head to toe in awe-inspiring Dolce and Gabbana…cannot wait to see the end results! There's THAT yellow star print dress to look forward to; the Dolce and Gabbana star collection from their Autumn/Winter catwalk was one of our favourites of that season and we're glad to see it dominate yet another magazine editorial.

Catwalk Catchup: MFW D&G Spring/Summer 2012

We knew this day would come, although we didn't expect it would come quite so soon. We're talking about D&G's last ever catwalk outing. Sniff! Pass the tissues please!

It was announced earlier this year that D&G will be merged with the main Dolce and Gabbana line, meaning the Spring/Summer 2012 catwalk outing in Milan would be the last. Hopefully this will make Dolce and Gabbana even stronger and better than it already is.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana made sure the last collection would be one to remember and the show went out with one hell of a bang. We loved everything from the bright satin wedges to the cute and colourful strapless mini and maxi dresses to the patch-work, busy prints and everything else inbetween. Plus, who knew you could do so much with a silk scarf? Outstanding!

The collection was a big one, but there will still be a D&G shaped hole in our hearts and our wardrobes when we notice its absence next season. Here's to a truly brilliant brand that's been keeping us stylish since 1994 - and here's to a revamped and even better Dolce and Gabbana main line!

Diane Kruger Sparkles for InStyle October's 10th Anniversary Issue

Looking at InStyle October 2011 cover proves our theory that Diane Kruger can do no wrong! And the way InStyle are going lately, neither can they! Freida Pinto and Beyonce covered the all-important September issue for the UK and US respectively and it seems InStyle are continuing their goddess-cover-star streak by adding Diane Kruger to the mix for their October issue.

This is no ordinary issue mind, it's InStyle's 10th Anniversary issue, hence the glitter and sparkle. The decision to put Diane on the cover of this milestone issue was perfect. The Dolce and Gabbana dress has to get a mention too - we've seen variations of their star print dress on countless red carpets and mag covers, but this has to be our favourite by far; how can anything compete with gold Dolce and Gabbana star print? Especially when Diane Kruger is modelling it! Nice one, InStyle - we knew we had a good reason for reading you religiously!

Anna Dello Russo Causes Controversy With Vogue Japan Pics

Crystal Renn seems to have found herself in the middle of another media storm - and this time, her weight has NOTHING to do with it . Having just seen Vogue Japan's October 2011 front cover and some of the editorial pics featuring the former plus size beauty, we knew immediately what all the hoopla would be about. Have no idea? Take a look at her eyes….there you go!

Yep, Anna Dello Russo taped back and raised Crystal Renn's eyes to make her look Asian, which a lot of natives and non-natives alike have found offensive. ADR may have tried to play on Karlie Kloss's Vogue China shoot with Mario Testino back in May, whereby the teen model was captured in stereotypical Chinese attire and poses. Not a lot of people seemed to have a problem with that - after all, she was embracing the culture and more importantly, her eyes remained in their normal position.

Let's not forget that Vogue are on very thin ice as far as racism goes - this year they managed to offend two Asian models by getting their names mixed up, while over at Vogue Italy, they thought it would be a fab idea to call some hoop earrings "slave earrings", thus offending everyone!

Then comes the age-old dilemma that is so common in print ads whereby models/celebs are airbrushed within an inch of their lives - so much so that they are barely recognisable. If ADR and the Vogue team wanted an Oriental cover girl - they should have got one. If they wanted Crystal Renn, they should take her as she is, no?

It has certainly generated a lot of publicity for the mag, but we think it's safe to say Vogue would happily give up some of the publicity they've generated over the years. What does everyone else think? We see what Anna Dello Russo tried to do - the images are striking and Crystal is as gorgeous as she always is - but we also think the same effect could have been achieved without the eye scrape-age. Opinions?

Vogue Paris Collections A/W 2012

As if Vogue isn't a bible enough, the Vogue Collections editions that come around every season to showcase the hottest items are also fashion bibles in their own right. Take a look at the cover for the Vogue Paris Collections for the Autumn Winter 2012 season - such a tease for what's inside - although you wouldn't think it was for an autumn/winter collection if the vibrance of the garments is anything to go by. Here are a few snippets from the special edition (all chosen by Emmanuelle Alt of course):

Dream Wardrobe Piece: Dolce and Gabbana dress

As seen on the gorgeous Christina Aguilera, burlesque red is still very much a hot colour. The season may be all about brights, but red hot never goes out of style - not if Dolce and Gabbanna have anything to say about it.

Daily Style Crush: Selena Gomez

Disney stars seem to grow up overnight these days. Selena Gomez stunned at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas - and there was a LOT of outfits to be wowed by that night; not to mention a bondage themed performance courtesy of Rihanna and Britney Spears

Miss Gomez played the role of loving and supporting girlfriend to boyfriend Justin Bieber when he picked up a staggering total of six awards, but we bet all eyes were solely on her on the Red Carpet. She was dressed in a gorgeous thigh-split Dolce and Gabbana A/W 2011 gown and beautiful Guiseppe Zanotti bow sandals - perfection.

Penelope Cruz covers Vogue June

As you may or may not know, the cover was leaked by a very excited Stefano Gabbana, who wanted to let the world know that Dolce and Gabbana had graced yet another front cover. Bless him. However, Miss Anna Wintour was none too pleased that the cover had leaked, so he took it down from his Tumblr and Twitter pages. We're glad to finally be able to post it now because it's a rather beautiful cover; it looks a tad nineties-esuqe in terms of layout and styling don't you think?

The beautiful Penelope Cruz was shot by Mario Testino (a fabulous combination if ever there was one) and is wearing, you guessed it, Dolce and Gabbana. And if you think it looks Vogue-ly familiar (see what we did there?!), that's because it's the same number worn by a certain Gisele on Emmanuelle Alt's first Vogue Paris cover.

Dream Wardrobe Piece: Dolce and Gabbana jumpsuit

We would like this jumpsuit very much please, clothes fairy - we will be good all week, we promise.

Dolce and Gabbana's Animalier collection

Less than 24 hours until the official launch of the Animalier make-up collection. Here's a teaser video to whet your appetite; check out the official website because when the countdown finishes, something fab is going to be unleashed on it.

Scarlett Johansson's last Mango ads

More ScarJo news today - can you see a recurring theme at Fashion Compendium lately? Miss Johansson's last ever ad campaigns for Mango have just been released and we are getting a little bit nostalgic now. Photographed by Mango favourite Mario Sorrenti and sporting an effortless wet-look bob and depicting ultimate holiday chic, Scarlett is certainly going out with a bang.

The Scarlett Johansson/Mango love affair has come to an end; now we just have to see what's next in the Mango pipeline, and indeed if Miss Johansson will be lending her face to anything else to coincide with her Dolce and Gabbana ads. Rumour has it that Kate Moss will be fronting the next batch of Mango campaigns, but we will just have to wait and see.

Scarlett Johansson's The One campaign

Just when we thought Scarlett Johansson couldn't get any more beautiful…the picture used for the Dolce and Gabbana Beauty campaign was indeed stunning, but now that we are looking at in comparison to this The One image, we can see a huge difference. One portrays a more girly and 'pretty' Scarlett, whereas the other conveys a gorgeous, smouldering woman that we don't think many men would possibly be able to resist. Which campaign image do you prefer?

Scarlett Johansson for Dolce & Gabbana Beauty

If you thought Scarlett Johansson was one of the most beautiful women in the world, this picture will only escalate that thought. Miss Johansson is fronting the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2011 beauty campaign. Well, Dolce & Gabbana certainly have found  the right face for the representation of beauty. Breathtaking to say the least.

Riley Keough for Lee Jeans

Riley Keough, Elvis Presley's grand-daughter, is the latest face for Lee jeans, channeling her grandfather's style and looks (the Presley gene pool is obviously very potent!)

This isn't Lisa Marie Presley's daughter's first modelling gig; you may recognise her as the face of Christian Dior's Miss Dior Cherie back in 2006, as well as strutting her stuff down the Dolce and Gabbana catwalk at the tender age of 14. My, what talent!

Fearne Cotton for Very

These new snaps for Fearne Cotton's latest collection for Very have just emerged and we have to say that they're very fitting to this much appreciated summer weather we seem to be having at the moment.

The collection is very summery both in colour and materials - there's an abundance of white crochet and lace-like textures which seem to be inspired by the current Dolce and Gabbana pieces, along with cute and feminine cuts and silhouettes.

This could be the best collection yet. The white and pink sixties style dress with the Peter Pan collar is our favourite.

The best of the Kids Choice Awards 2011

The Oscars may have been done and dusted but that doesn't mean it's the end of awards season, and more importantly Award Season fashion. The Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards always churn out some fantastic fashion choices from some of the hottest and most popular celebrities in the world.

Here's our pick of the best dressed for this year's ceremony.

Kim Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner opted for cutesy LWDs (little white dresses) to comply with the youthful feel of the ceremony, whereas Kourtney went for a different look - a hot pink maxi dress which still worked wonders.

Willow Smith's gold romper was nothing short of fabulous, and Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez went for contrasting looks but rocked them both equally. Selena's shorts and top combo was both contemporary yet stylish, and Miley's evening dress still looked youthful and elegant, and not too formal thanks to the pretty floral print.

Who do you think rocked the orange carpet the best?

Britney Spears in Dolce and Gabbana for Femme Fatale promos

First, it looked like Kylie was bestest friends with Dolce and Gabbana, but now it looks like Britney Spears is another contender for Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana BFF.

She is seen kitted out in Dolce and Gabbana clobber for the promotional pictures for her new album Femme Fatale. Looks like the Britney we knew and loved is back for good and here to stay if these pictures are anything to go by. The picture on the top right of the princess of pop looking like a golden goddess is by far our favourite.

Go green with H&M's eco-friendly Fashion Conscious range

And now we present you with more reasons why you should love going green.

H&M's Conscious Collection is hitting the high street next month, in a bid to promote enviro-friendly fabrics. Natasha Poly looks gorgeous in all of the campaign shots, which were shot by Solve Sundsbo.

The collection is predominantly white, as it's one of the season's hottest colours (just think how many times you've seen that Dolce and Gabbana white lace top on celebs/on magazine covers) with a few off-white/pale garments thrown in there as well.

The garments are perfect for summer; now all we need is some warm weather and we'll be good to go. The collection launches on 14 April - put it in your diaries!

Dolce and Gabbana in Marie Claire

We are really excited to finally see this Dolce and Gabbana piece on someone other than a runway model.

In a Spring/Summer collection which was predominantly filled with elegant, white lace (which, don't get us wrong, we totally loved), the few binary opposite pieces really stood out to us; the low-cut, black piece in the pictures in particular.

Marie Claire do seem to be having a bit of a Dolce and Gabbana love-affair, as Sasha Beznosyuk is wearing a beautiful white blouse from the same collection for their Romania issue.

This is the perfect piece for Meghan Collison to be wearing on the cover of Marie Claire Italy; so striking!

Kylie Minogue covers Australia's Marie Claire

As her sister Dannii would say, she absolutely 'smashed it'. Kylie Minogue dazzled on April's cover of the Australian Marie Claire, and we're not just talking about the gorgeous gold sparkly Dolce and Gabbana bodice.

The entire Marie Claire spread shows Kylie having a whale of a time with bosom buds Dolce and Gabbana; all in a day's work then. Us, jealous? Never!

The Dolce and Gabbana dazzler on the cover is just one of the stunning costumes she has lined up for her Les Folies tour; if the costumes are anything to go by, spectators will be in for a treat!
