Can you say blast from the past or what?
River Island are relaunching their Chelsea Girl brand with a collection said to be hitting stores and the internet later on this month. For those who weren't around from the 1960s - 1980s, Chelsea Girl was what River Island is today. Makes those who actually remember it feel quite old doesn't it? (I was born in '88 but remember it from the hand-me-downs..who else remembers it?)
The capsule collection features mini-skirts, shorts, crop tops, wide leg trousers and floral and geometric printed maxi dresses. Sounds like it's definitely a collection fit for the summer, as well as one which brings back classic styles from decades past.
The collection launches on 24 March; Selfridges are also getting on board and are hosting an exclusive Chelsea Girl pop up shop in celebration.
