Pics of Marilyn Monroe's First Ever Shoot Going to Auction

More iconic auction news now, this time courtesy of the other Hollywood legend, Marilyn Monroe. Or as she was then known, Norma Jeane Dougherty. These rare pictures of the brunette (!!!) beauty were shot by Joseph Jasgur back in 1946 and were the result of Marilyn's first ever modelling shoot. The proceeds of the auction (scheduled in December) will go towards clearing the photographer's debts.

As well as getting their hands on the original pictures, the lucky winning bidder will also nab the negatives, release forms signed by the beauty herself and copyrights. Owning the copyrights allows the winner to make more money through distribution fees, so potentially, the purchase could be one hell of a money maker. Look how fresh faced and care free she looks? We hope the pics go to a good home!
